The Change We Need
If anyone to know reality about Rohingya MPs, you will surprise. I am not only friend of Abu Taar but also friend of Shwe Mg. I know who are doing what inside Myanmar. On 25 September 2011, three Rohingya MPs did a briefing on their activities in People's Parliament (Pyithu Hluttaw). They explained us they not only asked questions and proposals but also submitted a document on Rohingya History to Citizen’s' Rights Committee of Pyithu Hluttaw and demanded to declare Rohingya race as an ethnic group offcially.They also demanded to issue Citizenship Cards ASAP lift all restrictions as they are not complying with new constitution. After 3 days, NDPD declared they had submitted Rohingya History on 26 September 2011. Why did NDPD submit the history only after the Briefing of USDP MPs. What are they doing the whole year? About 60 people attended the USDP MPs briefing on 25 Sep at Shine Company Meeting Room. MPs showed us the documents and told us to keep it confidential as it is issue of a Union Level Hluttaw Committee and the documents should not be distributed until Union Level decision. It is good as NDPD submit a document and they should keep it confidential. But they are distributing that document to all villages in Mgd and Btd. I hope NDPD did with intention and jealousy. Some people are criticizing our MPs that why they did not mention “Rohingya” instead of “Myanmar Muslim” in their questions and proposals. I think, before we criticize them, we must understand Hluttaw Laws. I read in the law that MP needs to submit their Questions and Laws to Hluttaw Chairman first. If His Excellency can approve the whole or a portion and then MP will be able to ask legally in the Hluttaw Meetings. It is easy to post a letter via Post Office but not easy in Hluttaw. It needs some legal formality. Please do not forget our Rohingya MPs are only three persons. They need to convince other 400 MPs. For a decision, Majority vote is crucial. We are very lucky that they represent USDP which is ruling party. I think they are doing legally and very systematically. I think it is the best idea that our MPs are going through Hluttaw Committee chaired by USDP General Secretary. I trust our MPs. Please wait and see while they are doing their job legally. Finally, I would like to request all, please Do Not Disturb them. Sending a letter from the NDPD Party Chairman to the USDP President will not yield anything in Multi-Party Democracy System. Attacking and opposing USDP MPs and Requesting USDP President is NOT consistent. If we all are aiming for the good of our own people, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase support them and Do Not try for Political Profit. We have derailed since 50 years ago. Now it is time to Change.

I think it is the best if NDPD MP Mr. Abu Tahar cooperate with USDP MP Mr. Shwe Mg.They should forget their problem and work together for Rohingya. Because both of them are smarter than each other.
